【摘要】:Thisguideisintendedtoserveasareferenceforthetestingoftextilecompositematerials.Theuseofthisguideensuresthatproperconsiderationisgiventotheuniquecharacteristicsofthesematerialsintesting.Inaddition,thisguidealsoassiststheuserinselectingthebestcurrentlyavailableASTMtestmethodformeasurementofcommonlyevaluatedmaterialproperties.1.1Thisguideisapplicabletothetestingoftextilecompositesfabricatedusingfabricpreforms,suchasweaves,braids,stitchedpreforms,andsoforth,asthereinforcement.Thepurposeofthisguideisto:1.1.1Ensurethatproperconsiderationisgiventotheuniquecharacteristicsofthesematerialsintesting.1.1.2AssisttheuserinselectingthebestcurrentlyavailableASTMtestmethodforthemeasurementofcommonlyevaluatedmaterialpropertiesforthisclassofmaterials.1.2AreaswherecurrentASTMtestmethodsdonotmeettheneedsfortestingoftextilecompositesareindicated.1.3Itisnottheintentofthisguidetocoveralltestmethodswhichcouldpossiblybeusedfortextilecomposites.Onlythemostcommonlyusedandmostapplicablestandardsareincluded.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatoryrequirementspriortouse.
