【摘要】:1.1Theserequirementscovertheindividualunitsthatcompriseahomehealthcaresystemintendedforuseinordinaryindoorresidentiallocations.1.2Theserequirementsalsocoveracompletehomehealthcaresysteminwhichasignalinitiatingdevice(bothroutinemonitoringandmedicalemergencysignals)maybeconnecteddirectlyorindirectlytoreceivingequipmentataresidenceortocontinuouslymonitoredreceivingequipmentatacentralsupervisingstation.Thesystemisarrangedsothatapredeterminedchangeinthestatusofthesignalinitiatingcircuitsordevicesautomaticallycausestransmissionofasignaloveracommunicationchanneltoreceivingequipmentataresidence,toacentralsupervisingstation,ortoaprivatetelephonenumber.1.3Thecomponentsofthehomehealthcaresystemmayincludesignalinitiatingdevices,controlunits,transmitters,anddigitalcommunicators,alllocatedattheresidence,andthereceiving,processing,anddisplayingequipmentlocatedatthecentralsupervisingstation.1.4Allfieldwiringextendingtosignalinitiatingunitslocatedattheresidenceisintendedtobeenergizedfrompowerlimitedcircuitsasdefinedin2.3(c).1.5Theunitscoveredbytheserequirementsareintendedtobeinstalledinaccordancewiththerequirementsof:a)TheNationalElectricalCode,NFPA70;b)Otherapplicableinstallationcodes;andc)Thelocalinspectionauthorityhavingjurisdiction.1.6Aproductthatcontainsfeatures,characteristics,components,materials,orsystemsnewordifferentfromthosecoveredbytherequirementsinthisstandard,andthatinvolves,ariskoffire,electricshock,orinjurytopersonsshallbeevaluatedusingtheappropriateadditionalcomponentandend-productrequirementsasdeterminednecessarytomaintaintheacceptablelevelofsafetyasoriginallyanticipatedbytheintentofthisstandard.Aproductwhosefeatures,characteristics,components,materials,orsystemsconflictwithspecificrequirementsorprovisionsofthisstandardcannotbejudgedtocomplywiththisstandard.Whereconsideredappropriate,revisionofrequirementsshallbeproposedandadoptedinconformancewiththemethodsemployedfordevelopment,revision,andimplementationofthisstandard.
